Baileys Horse Feeds Winter Series returns

With the 2020 eventing season now in its final month, we are set to welcome the return of our Baileys Winter Series from November. Whether you want to keep your eye in this winter, prepare to move up a level next season or are entirely new to BE and want to see what we have on offer, the Baileys Winter Series could be for you.

What is the Baileys Winter Series?

The winter series comprises of two competition opportunities – Arena Eventing, which combines show jumping and cross country fences on a surface, and Jump Training, a unique show jumping competition with the added bonus of on-event Coaching support.

Both Arena Eventing and Jump Training are open to members and non-members of BE, and the competitions take place at BE80, BE90 and BE100 level.

About Baileys Jump Training

The BE Jump Training series is a unique show jumping competition that has the added benefit of BE Accredited Coaches who are on hand to provide immediate advice and feedback on your jumping. First you will warm up with a BE Accredited Coach, before moving into the main arena to jump two rounds under the watchful eye of another BE Accredited Coach. Classes run at three levels: JT80 (max height 85cm), JT90 (max height 95cm) and JT100 (max height) and the top 25 per cent at each level qualify for the Baileys Jump Training Championships next February.

About Baileys Arena Eventing

The Arena Eventing series combines a round of show jumping followed immediately by a round of arena cross country. The top 10 per cent from each level – hosted at a max height of 85cm (AE80), 95cm (AE90) and 105cm (AE100), with open sections for all grades of horse at AE90 and AE100 – will qualify for the Arena Eventing Championships in February 2021.

We are delighted to have the Baileys Jump Training and Arena Eventing competitions back this winter and to be able to provide members further competition opportunities after a challenging season and reduced eventing. However, while we focus this year on delivering our current offering, British Eventing is committed to exploring additional winter competitions for 2021/2022.
