Volunteer training!

Even with the 2019 season underway, there is still the chance to take part in the free volunteer training days with three dates coming up this month.

The training days are open to current and new volunteers and provide a great way to meet people who share a love of volunteering and eventing. The day will cover many of the key skills and information required across all areas of volunteering at a BE event, including fence judging.

Thanks to Sport England and Horse Scotland funding, via the BEF, BE Officials will be sharing their knowledge and expertise on various roles and certain scenarios, as well as the latest rule updates for 2019. The days are open to anyone, from experienced volunteers looking to upskill for the new season to those looking to join the loyal band of volunteers for the first time, lunch is provided and training is completely free of charge.
