SCIENCE SUPPLEMENTS CUP TO RUN BEHIND CLOSED DOORS
The Science Supplements Cup 2021 is to run behind closed doors in line with Badminton Horse Trials’ statement of today.
All will be under constant review in the coming months and we will keep everyone updated with developments throughout via our social media handles and website.
Our overriding priority will continue to be the health and safety of all those involved in staging the event.
Event Director Jane Tuckwell said “We realise that this is not the scenario everyone would wish for but feel by announcing our intentions now it will give all involved in whatever capacity the opportunity to plan accordingly. To deliver the “Behind Closed Doors” event will not be without its challenges but we look forward to bringing you a great competition”.
BE CEO Jude Matthews said “We are delighted that Badminton have made the decision to continue to run the Science Supplements Cup Championships alongside their 5* competition in 2021. The early decision to run behind closed doors enables those who have qualified to prepare for the Championships in the knowledge they are planned to go ahead.”
