As a result of our close collaboration with, and support from BE, a member of our Board has a seat on BE’s Sport Committee, so enabling the EHOA, through its representative, to raise any Ownership queries with them.

The EHOA is run by owners for owners and is administered by a Board of volunteers whose aim is, above all, to help make eventing fun.

We run Hospitality tents at many events (see our website www.ehoa.org for details) where our members can meet old, and make new, friends in a warm and friendly environment. We provide refreshments, newspapers and, in some cases, at major events, TV monitors. Successes are celebrated and when things do not go according to plan there are kindred spirits present to offer support!

Each member annually receives a training voucher which can be used with a variety of top trainers and riders, allowing our grassroots riders access to some of the stars of the sport, thus giving them the opportunity to progress further than might otherwise be the case.

We hold an AGM - to be held again at The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials this year - and an annual Dinner, to which owners can take their riders, at which EHOA and BE awards are presented.

Our website contains much information and, with Facebook and Twitter, plays a large part in our communications. Twice a year we produce a printed Newsletter for use in our hospitality tents. We provide guidance leaflets on ownership issues, and our Board members are available to help where they can.
