What is the Baileys Winter Series?
The winter series comprises of two competition opportunities – Arena Eventing, which combines show jumping and cross country fences on a surface, and Jump Training, a unique show jumping competition with the added bonus of on-event Coaching support.
Both Arena Eventing and Jump Training are open to members and non-members of BE, and the competitions take place at BE80, BE90 and BE100 level.
The BE Jump Training series is a unique show jumping competition that has the added benefit of BE Accredited Coaches who are on hand to provide immediate advice and feedback on your jumping.
Riders gain invaluable feedback from BE Accredited Coaches on their show jumping skills in a three-phase training competition: Course Walk, Guided Warm Up and Two Rounds of Show Jumping.
Competitors first complete a round of show jumps immediately followed by a cross country course, finishing over a show jump 'joker fence' set at 10cm higher than the rest of the course.
Baileys Arena Eventing is the perfect pre-season competition, providing both show jumping practise and training over some of the technical elements of cross country, all on an arena surface during the winter months.
