Young Professionals Programme
This programme is funded by Sport England to support the transition of athletes moving out of the talent pathway, so they can be retained in the wider equestrian sport network and support can be given for their continuation in the sport. Run in collaboration with British Dressage, British Eventing and British Showjumping, the cross-discipline Young Professional Programme has been designed to help support an individual’s personal development, career planning and enhancement so at the end of the 12-month programme they have a wider and well-adapted skill-set that builds their confidence and helps them to thrive and earn a living in the equine industry.
Diploma in Sporting Excellence
In partnership with British Dressage and British Eventing, Hartpury College provides riders with opportunities to improve their performance in the Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DISE), via a blended learning programme consisting of central ‘camps' at Hartpury College and ‘home visits' from the rider's assigned mentor/assessor.
Haddon Training has 20 years’ experience with apprenticeships in the equine industry, and is an award-winning training provider recognised by OFSTED as Grade 1: “Outstanding”. They are the preferred training provider for British Eventing. Haddon Training delivers 100 per cent work-based equine apprenticeships across England and Wales.
Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE)
In partnership with British Eventing, British Dressage and British Showjumping, Haddon Training offer talented athletes the opportunity to train with World Class coaches and achieve a recognised qualification whilst being employed in the equestrian sector. The AASE programme is tailored around the equestrian Olympic disciplines ensuring that top equestrian athletes are starting on the right path to exceed and excel in their chosen career. Find out more
Youth Pathway Coaching Programme
Created by the British Equestrian Federation (BEF), the Youth Pathway Coaching Programme is a Sport England funded initiative that is designed to develop coaches currently working within the Youth Pathways of equestrian sport, giving them the tools to nurture the potential of developing athletes from a young age.
