Wendy McGowan

Before joining British Eventing, Wendy spent 18 years working for a defence company, seeing various take overs and restructures, and was the Managing Director of one of the subsidiaries. When she has time, Wendy enjoys being outdoors and caravanning as well as cycling and walking. You will find Wendy at Blenheim and often Aston-le-Walls, Offchurch Bury and other events around the country. 

Executive Assistant Alexandra Bright

Alex joined the BE Sport Team in 2013 as Officials and Rules Coordinator, has since enjoyed the role of Assistant Sport Manager before moving into the EA role in early 2020. Prior to BE, Alex worked at The Pony Club Headquarters and was responsible for organising the National Tetrathlon Championships. She holds a BA Equine and Business Studies from Harper Adams University/Warwickshire College and has previous experience managing the reception team at a busy small animal veterinary practice. In her spare time Alex enjoys running, cycling and skiing.

Debbie Pritchard

Debbie has been part of the team at British Eventing since 2004. Before joining she worked in the racing industry and has a degree in Equine Business Management. Outside of eventing and horses Debbie enjoys food, cooking and spending time with her dogs. 

Debbie is responsible for events, rules, risk management and the sport.

Sport Team Member - Results, Series and Championships Renee Groeninx

Renee has extensive experience working in the equestrian industry as well as working in office based roles using her language skills. She has been PA to the CEO of British Eventing for 16 years and enjoys art and spending time with her horse. 

International & Youth Performance Coordinator Tirion Budd

Tiri graduated with a first class degree in event management in 2019 from Coventry University. Having had experience working in government and being around horses her whole life, competing in international competitions with BD and BE, working on competition yards and event coordinating at equestrian venues, this role felt like the right fit.

Originally from South Wales, Tiri moved to Warwickshire to live with her partner. She has a range of hobbies from riding and flag football to musical theatre and acting. Let’s just say it doesn’t take much to get her moving or talking!

Officials & Rules Coordinator Clare Boardman 

Clare previously worked for The Pony Club for 18 years in many roles including Marketing, Sport, Officials and Volunteers, as well as Secretary for Pony Racing.  Before that she was Marketing Assistant for the BHS Horse Trails Group/British Horse Trials Association (now BE), where she combined her enjoyment of eventing and working within the sport. Clare has evented up to Advanced level  and recently has been jumping at British Show Jumping.  She now owns an ex-racehorse, who she hopes to be eventing soon.

Sport Team Member - Risk Management and Event Schedules Una Blower

Una used to work as Fixtures, Schedules and Results coordinator at BE. She has previously worked at British Riding Clubs and holds a BSc in Equine Sports Science and an MSc in Animal Manipulation. Alongside her work at BE, Una is a qualified McTimoney Equine and Canine practitioner. She has an ex-racehorse who she enjoys competing when she has the time. 

Risk Management Coordinator

Siobhan Taylor Siobhan joined the Sport Team in 2014 as Training and Safety Coordinator and has since moved into the Risk Management Role. Before joining BE Siobhan worked as a Business Development Manager in Sustainable Construction for several years and has a BSC in Biology and Geography from Exeter. She grew up riding, competing, and working with horses and still supports her sister when eventing. Outside of work she enjoys, cooking, eating out and being in the great outdoors with her family and their dog.
International and Youth Coordinator Helen Hart

Before joining the team at British Eventing, Helen worked at the Pony Club as Secretary for Eventing and Tetrathlon. She holds a BA(Hons) in Equine studies and has previous experience working as a Yard Technician and Residential Warden at Warwickshire College. Helen plays for a local netball team in her spare time and volunteers at local equestrian events. 

Coaching Coordinator Claire Carter

Claire joined BE after working in the Training and Education Department at British Dressage. In her spare time, she enjoys riding, running and cycling. 


Membership Team    
Team Leader Anne Kimberley

Anne has vast experience working in the Membership Team at British Eventing and as team leader. She has previously worked in the membership and safety team at the BHS and holds her BHSI and BHSII stable manager qualifications. Anne enjoys time on her smallholding and competing her horses in her spare time. 

Membership Services Hannah Collins

Before joining British Eventing Hannah worked in project management within the leisure industry and holds a project management qualification. She had a year's experience working in the Training and Education Team at BE before moving to the Membership Team. Hannah is a keen hockey player and enjoys getting out to events when time allows. 

Membership Services & FEI Registrations Kim Harris

Kim is an experienced member of the team at British Eventing. Her background is in decorative arts, which saw her travel throughout Hong Kong and China. Kim enjoys walking and keeping fit.

Membership Services & FEI Registrations Clare Smith

Clare is an experienced member of the team at British Eventing. Previous to this role she worked as Assistant Yard Manager at a residential equine college for young adults with special needs as well as working for the Prince's Trust as education and employment team leader. Clare can often be seen out eventing her little cob Harvey or fence judging. 

Event Entries Services Sarah Hadley

Sarah worked for BE from 2002 to 2007, she then spent 3 years working for the Royal Show followed by 10 years at Riding for the Disabled Association organising and running the RDA National Championships. In her spare time Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, swimming and running.

Event Entries Services Fiona Saxby

Fiona works part time in the Event Entries team, organises the Winter Series Jump Training and officiates on Event as a BE scorer. Outside work activities she enjoys riding her horse, walking and running with her two spaniels and, when travel allows, skiing with her family.

Emily Bradford

Emily worked for Blenheim Palace Horse Trials for three years before joining the head office at British Eventing. She enjoys riding and keeping fit during her spare time as well as spending time with her family and daughter.

Salesforce Technical Analyst/Administrator Bev Cheshire

Bev is a highly experienced Salesforce analyst, having used and implemented the CRM system previously in the Media industry. Outside of work Bev enjoys exercising and is passionate about live music. 

Senior Developer Adam Cadman

Adam has a background in network and server management, and also extensive experience in various Developer roles. He is experienced in end-to-end website development and support service, from configuring and securing the server all the way through designing and developing to deploying websites.


Finance Department    
Accounts Alison Faulkner

Alison has much experience working in the accounts team at British Eventing. Before joining the team she worked for a family pharmacy company for 21 years. When not in the office Alison enjoys going to the gym, spending time with friends and live music. She can often be found working at Blenheim, Badminton, Burghley, Broadway and Brand Hall. 

Accounts Karyn Keogh

Karyn worked at Milward Brown as UK purchase Ledger Manager before joining British Eventing, where she has been for 18 years. Karyn enjoys spending time with friends, her two daughters and her dog.
