    OPEN TO ALL

Banish the January Blues and join your East Midlands Team for an unmounted Interactive Training Day in preparation for the season ahead.

The day is primarily aimed at riders who are looking to compete at BE80 to Novice level, and is open to both Members and Non-Members of all ages. Below I have detailed what you might expect from the day and those who attended last year found it be an informative, enjoyable day that inspired them for the season ahead:

Meet the Coaches.  The event will be hosted by two of the British Eventing accredited BE coaches, Sam York and Lisa Morris; they coach from BE 80(T), 12 – 21 and the wider training events open to all members.

How to get the Best from BE Training.  The coaches will explain what to expect from BE 80(T), the 12 – 21 programme and the wider training available up to Novice level.  They will be able to answer all your questions and provide expert advice on how to get the best from the wide variety of training and support that BE offer from those who are new to the sport, through to those who are more experienced and looking to progress to 2*.

Interactive Coaching Sessions.  There will be three interactive training sessions involving a combination of riders from BE80 to BE100, jumping and on the flat; there is a true mixture of riders and horses who have kindly volunteered, that are truly reflective of our membership.  The idea of these sessions is for riders to get a sense of how BE training sessions are run; they really are all-inclusive.  While giving you some top tips to help you with your own preparation for 2019

Event Preparation.  Sarah Charnley - international event groom to Allstar B - will provide her tips as a rider and professional groom on getting a horse ready for competition, what to have at events and some insights from the WEG.

Jumping Masterclass.  Making use of a local rider, Chloe Pearson, who has come through the East Midlands 12 – 21 development programme, there will be a more advanced jumping session, which will look to inspire you and your horse beyond next season.

IT IS NOW CONFRIMED THAT VIRBAC 3D WORMING WILL BE ATTENDING TO GIVE AN INDUSTRY TALK - GOODY BAGS FOR ALL!

A HUGE THANKYOU TO ALL RIDERS WHO HAVE VOLUNTEERED!!! WE HAVE HAD AN OVERWHELMING RESPONSE.
