    After the disappointment of not being able a send a team to the FEI Eventing European Championship for Ponies in Strzegom, Poland this summer, we are delighted to announce that the organisers of the Land Rover Blair Castle International Horse Trials will kindly host a Home Pony International Team Competition against pony teams from Ireland.

    The IT Steering Committee has been established as a committee of the BE Board with the stated aim “to ensure that all further work to develop and maintain the current IT systems, and consideration of any short-, medium- and long-term IT strategy, is carried out in an efficient and cost-effective manner in alignment with the strategic objectives of BE and to support the delivery of sport.”

    Following the announcement of the decision to cancel 2021’s Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials for the second year and the subsequent decision by Burghley House Preservation Trust Ltd (BHPT), the charitable parent of all that happens at Burghley, to bring the management of the Horse Trials more into line with all their other events and activities which take place each year, Elizabeth Inman, Burghley Horse Trials' long-standing Event Director is standing down.
    Elizabeth Inman has been involved in the Burghley Horse Trials in one way or another for over forty years.

    Bold Heath drops down to one day

    Due to the low number of entries, the team at Bold Heath has taken the decision to amalgamate Saturday and Sunday for their August fixture - all competition will now take place on Saturday 14th August.
