    Glamis Castle Country Fair and Horse Trials was a new addition to the BE calendar for 2019, but beat off stiff competition to win the coveted Scottish Event of the Year title at the BE Scotland Ball on Saturday 9th November.

    A fantastic opportunity for a sponsor to support the entire BE Youth programme from 2020 onwards has now become available, which includes an extensive training programme, competition opportunities for under 21s and the inaugural BE Youth Regional Team Championships providing the pinnacle of the programme each summer. We now look to 2020 where the Championships will be hosted at Bishop Burton College on the 24th to 26th July.

    Nominations are now open for The British Horse Foundation Stallion AI Services Meritoire Award and Horse & Hound Outstanding Mare Award, which will be presented at the British Horse Foundation Awards Dinner on 11 January 2020.

     

  • Golden Opportunity to become the title sponsor of Wilton Horse Trials

    Wilton Horse Trials is running in July 2020 and is now looking for a new title sponsor after 13 years of the previous sponsor. It attracts a truly international range of competitors and has classes from BE100 to Open Intermediate, with typically around 550 competitors attending the event each year.

    Changes to entry and membership fees in 2020

    The BE membership price has remained flat since 2014, however, to keep pace with rising costs, an increase will come into effect for 2020. There will also be an increase on Entry Fees, Start Fees and Abandonment insurance.
