    Firstly, I hope that you continue to keep well.  There is hope that we will start to see some light at the end of the tunnel following the government’s next announcement, due this Sunday.  However, there is no doubt that we will be facing a new ‘normal’ for a long time to come.

    I thought it would be timely to give you further updates following from the communication from the Chair of the Board last week.

    Update from Chair of the BE Board Fiona O'Hara

    I hope you will have seen the announcement from the BEF this morning giving an overview of what we, BD and BS are all working on while our competitions are on hold. I would like to thank Malcolm Wharton and his team at the BEF for their support over the last few weeks.  As a follow up, I’d like to share with you the actions BE is taking to ensure that we look after our sport and be ready to restart.

    BEF and MBs in consultation for financial stability and sporting resumption

    The British Equestrian Federation (BEF) is working closely with its Olympic and Paralympic governing bodies British Dressage, British Eventing and British Showjumping, in conjunction with the British Horse Council, on planning for safeguarding the viability of the sport and a resumption of activity when the government is in a position to relax coronavirus restrictions.
