    British Olympian William Fox-Pitt became the first winner of a showpiece class at the inaugural Cornbury House Horse Trials and declared that he was “daring to dream a little” after his victory in the CCI2*-S on the exciting youngster Centurian Bay.

    British gold medallists Tom McEwen and Toledo De Kerser (pictured) headed an all-star cast on the first day of the inaugural Cornbury House Horse Trials. The pair, members of Britain’s winning team at the 2018 World Equestrian Games and winners of the CCI5* at Pau, France in 2019, took open intermediate section I on their impressive dressage score of 20.2.

    The IT Strategic Review Task Force has continued to move forward with the first step of its work:  to immediately and directly canvass organisers, entries secretaries, entries agents, riders, owners and scorers in an open and transparent way to establish the true situation with regard to the effectiveness of the software combined with the supporting functional processes and the training of users. 

  • British Equestrian Update: new legal restrictions for England

    The government has recently announced new restrictions in England which limit gatherings to a maximum of six people, enforceable by law, which come into effect on Monday 14 September. While this has implications for day-to-day life, British Equestrian has had confirmation via Sport England that equestrian sport and activity taking place in organised conditions under each governing body’s published ‘return to play’ protocols and related guidance, can continue without observing the new restricted numbers.
