    OASBY Horse Trials saw a packed three days of British Eventing competition over the Easter weekend, with a full unaffiliated programme running on the fourth and final day.

    With the likes of Oliver Townend, Izzy Taylor, Nicola Wilson, Piggy French and Laura Collett, to name just a few of the sport’s leading players, all vying for podium positions, competition was fierce throughout.

    NAF have renewed their sponsorship deal with Hartpury, securing headline
    sponsorship of the Gloucestershire venue’s Festival of Dressage (7-11
    July), Showjumping Spectacular (22-25 July), and International Horse Trials
    (12-15 August). This summer will mark a special anniversary for the
    partnership as it will be the tenth anniversary of the brand’s involvement
    with the popular horse trials fixture.

    After nearly a week of discussions, British Equestrian had confirmation this afternoon from the Cabinet Office, via the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), that the use indoor arenas in England remains restricted under the most recent legislation.

    Following the recommendation of Phase 1 of the IT Programme Strategy Review, the IT Steering Committee has been established as a committee of the BE Board with the stated aim “to ensure that all further work to develop and maintain the current IT systems, and consideration of any short-, medium- and long-term IT strategy, is carried out in an efficient and cost-effective manner in alignment with the strategic objectives of BE and to support the delivery of sport.”
