    All the home nations in Great Britain now have revised lockdown conditions, facilitating some increased activity with horses for participants, coaches and venues. In liaison with governments, sporting bodies and member bodies, British Equestrian can now release the following update on what’s now permitted as of 1 June.

    We know that many of you are keen to get back to sport as quickly as possible, and that there is increasing pressure for us to give you a date on when this will happen.

    Whilst there has been no guidance from the government to provide a date by which competitive equestrian sport can recommence, we thought it would be useful for you to understand how we are managing the calendar to facilitate the restart.

    Following the Prime Minister’s statement on Sunday, British Equestrian, in close consultation with British Dressage, British Eventing, British Showjumping and The Pony Club, is awaiting further sport sector specific guidance from the government and DCMS.
