Following the statement posted on Friday 16 August, British Eventing has today (Saturday 17 August) applied to the FEI to run a TCN2*-S and a TCN3*-S class at Burnham Market (2) on 14 - 15 September 2019.

“We hope that our application will be supported by the FEI so that we can help members with their MERs in the latter part of this season,” said, Chris Farr, BE Sport Manager (Fixtures), “but, as I said in yesterday’s statement, we have to be granted permission from the FEI to run them, and it could be the middle of next week before we hear if our application has been successful or not.

“As soon as we have more information, we will update members.”

Competitors, please ensure you read the Note under Article 520.2 of the FEI Eventing Rules for restrictions on MERs obtained at Targeted CN (TCN) classes: https://inside.fei.org/sites/default/files/Eventing%20Rules%20for%202019%20-%20clean%20version_03Dec2018.pdf
