Sport Update 1st April 2021
With the first full weekend of competition approaching, we thought it was worth reminding you all of some of the key points you need to remember.
Please take the time to read them!
You should still Arrive, Complete and Leave and you should ride to your allocated times. Please display your rider number in the windscreen of your vehicle on arrival so that you can be checked in.
Please make sure you only bring with you those allowed by the protocols – it’s really important we all comply so that we can enjoy our sport safely.
You will also have seen our communications about the EHV-1 self-certification process. You need to complete the self-declaration of health for your horses 24 hours prior to arrival on event. A link is available on our return to sport page so that you can complete this online or you can download it here.
The guidance is clear that you should not be permitted to take any horse on site without having completed the declaration, so please do remember to do so.
With the season starting to take off and members planning their season, please remember that it is the rider’s responsibility to ensure that any qualification requirements have been met for the classes being entered. Full details can be found in the BE Rules & Members’ Handbook.
Most importantly, for all those of you competing over the Easter weekend, have fun and keep safe!
