See Cross Country through the Eyes of the Designer

This Sunday, 6th October, British Eventing is hosting a fascinating day at Osberton International Horse Trials for current and aspiring coaches with a behind the scenes look at the process of designing cross country courses.

Thanks to BEDE Events, Cross Country through the Eyes of the Designer will see a discussion with BE course designer Stuart Buntine, British Eventing Accredited Coach Sam York and other BE Officials and Technical Advisers.

The day will cover key questions raised around the course and variations between levels, along with how to deliver a course walk, including managing groups, use of language, looking at how fences ride, types of horses at certain levels and quality of riding.

Ideal for both newly qualified and experienced coaches, as well as those looking to take their coaching qualifications, riders are also welcome and the day counts at Continual Professional Development (CPD) for Pony Club and BHS coaches. All bookings will receive a complimentary pass to Osberton Horse Trials.
