SCIENCE SUPPLEMENTS FOUNDATION LEAGUE ROUND-UP

SCIENCE SUPPLEMENTS LEAGUE SUMMARY

BE Foundation Points are awarded at BE90, BE100 and BE105 level. These leagues, sponsored by Science Supplements, are for riders and horses earning points at these levels throughout the season.

SCIENCE SUPPLEMENTS FOUNDATION RIDER POINTS

Tom Jackson is thundering into the lead with 108 points. Tom has a great selection of horses at the foundation points level, hence him currently sitting at the top spot. He won the BE100 at Keysoe (1) and Aston-Le-Walls (X) on Plot Twist B, owned by Mary Harris and Ruth McMullen. His other rides currently sitting at BE100 level is Hugh and Pam Jarvis’s gelding Emerald Endeavour, Midnight Endeavour and GFS Apollo owned by Bella Barnes.

Taggy Forester-bennett is in close second on 91 points after her successful multiple rides at Bicton Arena (1) on horses Watermill Sweet Diamond, SCT Sea Breeze and Cavatina Rose placing in the top three of their sections. Taggy most recently placed third in the BE100 at Moreton (X) on Watermill Sweet Diamond, owned by herself and Donna Pearson.

Alicia Hawker is currently sitting in third on 83 points after her fantastic win on Helen James’s Princess in the BE100 at Moreton Morrell (1). Earlier in the season, Alicia was also crowned winner of the BE100 at Larkhill on Hazy Dream owned by Judy Raines.

SCIENCE SUPPLEMENTS FOUNDATION HORSE POINTS

Plot Twist B is currently in first place on 56 in the Science Supplements Foundation Horse League. Owned by Mary Harris and Ruth McMullen, this gelding has placed first in the BE100 at Keysoe (1), Aston-Le-Walls (X) and Tweseldown (1) with rider Tom Jackson. With these results, this gelding is looking like a promising ride for the rest of the season.

Sitting in second is Christopher Stone’s gelding Chilli Rocks on 52 after placing first in the BE100 at South of England (1) and Barefoot Retreats Burnham Market International (1), with rider Gemma Tattersall.

Lying in third is Eva Carse’s Lisnafiffy. This mare was sitting in the top spot a few weeks ago as she had impressively been placed in the top ten of every event since winning Portman on 6th April, right up to Moreton Morrell (1) in May, where she came eighth. Then after the top 2 horses’ success, the mare was overtaken by Chilli Rocks and Plot Twist B.
