Pony Club Open Eventing Championships to be held at Wellington International

We are delighted to announce that The Pony Club Open Eventing Championships, the PC110, will be held at Wellington International Horse Trials in August.

The collaboration between The Pony Club, British Eventing and this hugely popular fixture in the eventing calendar is great news for the future stars of our sport, who are currently developing their talents in The Pony Club.

Jude Matthews, British Eventing CEO, said: “Our relationship with The Pony Club is such an important one for the continuation of our sport and we are delighted that these Championships can be held alongside such a high-profile competition, such as Wellington International. We would like to thank David Sheerin and his team for making this opportunity happen.”

Marcus Capel, Pony Club CEO, added: “Wellington International Horse Trials and Country Fair is a fantastic event and I look forward to seeing our talented Pony Club members out on the course. I would like to thank BE, David Sheerin and the Wellington team for helping us provide such an opportunity.”

David Sheerin, General Manager at Wellington Riding, said: “The team at Wellington are keen to give The Pony Club senior members a worthy experience after such a challenging set of circumstances. David Sheerin in particular has his roots firmly set within the PC family and is excited to help crown the National Champion on ‘welly soil.’”
