New Title Sponsors for Youth Championships

British Eventing is pleased to announce Baileys Horse Feeds as the new title sponsors of the Youth Regional Championships, at Bishop Burton College, taking place 28 July to 1 August.

Along with a new sponsor, it’s the first time Bishop Burton College, East Yorkshire, has hosted the Youth Regional Championships and CCI-L YR2*, making it a hugely anticipated event with a fresh, forward thinking approach.

The Baileys Horse Feeds Youth Regional Championships at Bishop Burton College will see the culmination of three Youth Regional Championships at BE90 Open, BE100 Open and CCIJ2*-L level. The Championships will bring together talented young riders from across Great Britain competing as regional teams of ten members. For 2021, the Youth Regional Championships have been extended to include riders under the age of 19, to reflect the loss of last year’s Championships due to Covid-19.

The BE Youth Programme consists of an extensive and well-established training programme specifically aimed towards young riders aged between 12 to 21. Competition opportunities are given in classes run for under 18s when riders have the chance to compete against their peers in a supportive and educational environment. All on the Youth Programme have access to the best coaching support and mentoring, with course walks available at specific events.

Bishop Burton College and University Centre is one of the UK's finest land-based institutions offering courses in Agriculture, Animal Management, Equine, Sport and more up to Postgraduate level. The Equine Centre at Bishop Burton College is one of the best in the country, with outstanding facilities, expert coaches and is a BHS Approved Riding School and Examination Centre.  The team have vast experience of running events and hosted the FEI European Championships for Ponies in 2018, and regularly run British Eventing fixtures.

Baileys Horse Feeds are passionate supporters of eventing, having sponsored BE’s Winter Series for 12 years and working with riders at all levels of the sport. “We’re excited to get the opportunity to sponsor the Youth Regional Championships, this year, and are really looking forward to being present to experience the event first-hand,” says Baileys Marketing Manager, Jane Buchan.  “Baileys have worked, regionally, with a number of young riders and it will be great to see their hard work come to fruition at the Championships.”
