Make it a weekend to remember… BE part of it!

We have not one but THREE exciting BE Championships taking place over that weekend (31 July-1 August)…

  • BE National Championships at Burgham, Northumberland
  • BE National Grassroots Championships at Cholmondeley Castle, Chesire
  • BE International Youth Championships at Bishop Burton College, Yorkshire

Supporters are very welcome at each of these events, so why not plan a day out to see British Eventing at its best

Writing history at Burgham

While our athletes are doing battle out in Japan, eventing in Britain will be having its own party. Hambro Sport Horses Burgham International Horse Trials (28 July-1 August) will be a real celebration of the sport - hosting the British Open Championships, the British Intermediate Championships, the British Novice Championships and the British Restricted Novice Championships alongside its international classes at CCI4*-S, CCI3*-S and CCI2*-S level, national classes from BE90 to Open Intermediate, and unaffiliated showjumping and combined training.

This is a first for Northumberland, and it's very exciting to have an event as prestigious as this in the north of England. With lots of tradestands and excellent, locally-sourced food outlets (and bars!), Burgham is a brilliant day out.

Find out more information, including what's happening each day, and buy your tickets online - up to midnight the day before your visit.

Fulfilling dreams at Cholmondeley

The 2021 National Grassroots Championships will be held in the stunning grounds of Cholmondeley Castle, Cheshire on 31 July. Theses Championships give riders at BE80, BE90 and BE100 the opportunity to seize their moment and contest a prestigious national final.

The Cholmondeley estate regularly attracts some of the biggest names in the sport, and the team are very much looking forward to putting on an unforgettable Championships for the stars of our grassroots levels.
