Little Downham - Sunday 23 May classes cancelled

The organising team at Little Downham are disappointed to announce the cancellation of the classes due to be held on Sunday 23rd May due to insufficient entries being received.

Competitors currently entered on Sunday who wish to transfer to Saturday classes (Novice/CCI2*/CCI3*) need to contact Wendy Evans by email only to wendy@wendyevans.uk before 5pm Friday 30th April. Spaces will be filled on a first come first served basis, and then all refunds will be processed ASAP.  Those currently in the Intermediate classes can either downgrade to the Novice/2* or upgrade to the 3*, where MERs allow.

The Little Downham team are committed to producing high class fixtures for competitors and as such are embarking on an extensive ground preparation process, with investment stretching to approximately £10,000 over the coming weeks.  This will be to the significant benefit of the competitors at this International fixture and those looking to make a return, or first, visit to the venue the first week of June.

There are spaces available in the OI/I/3*/2* classes due to run at Tweseldown on Thursday 21st May, for those unable to move to the Saturday, and Rachael will gratefully receive your entries.

The teams involved with Little Tweseldownham are disappointed that this new initiative has failed to inspire competitors to enter - but at least we tried to do something different, and we appreciate the complexities of the calendar at this time of year, the dry weather and the ongoing impact of the pandemic may have all come together to impact entries.  We hope that this quick decision will inspire confidence in our future fixtures and allow competitors as much time as possible to replan.
