I.T. update 30/04/2020
As previously promised, we will be keeping you all up to date on I.T. developments focused around the Entries, Admin, Results and Scoring system (EARS) and the website itself.
Following stakeholder feedback, as previously shared we have been working on a change to allow multiple entries for the same horse into events held on the same or consecutive days. Following extensive end-user testing we released the change onto the website this week, in readiness for when entries reopen.
Another area that has been enhanced is the purchase confirmation email receipts. These receipts now display a clearer breakdown on when VAT charges are being applied. The changes are currently being tested by our finance department, and pending sign off, will be released to the website.
In terms of the Entries, Admin, Results and Scoring system (EARS) we are working through the feedback logged by our Working Group and a number of enhancements are being made and have been planned for the month of May. These enhancements include system changes to handling Multiple Entries, Waitlists, breaking down Entry totals for Classes, Class days and Sections, and finally enhancements to Sectioning and Times.
Following agreement from the Working Group, this week our focus has been to complete the development associated to managing multiple entries and improving the way this data is used in different areas of the EARS system.
