Isleham is ready to open the 2020 Season!

Following Storm Dennis across the weekend, the organisers of Isleham Horse Trials have just sent the latest update ahead of their event taking place on 29 February and 1 March:

Isleham could run today – it is just the finishing touches to complete!

We can report no problems at Isleham and Jock and Ray, long term employees of the Tompsett family, are strimming, putting posts in ready for roping and clearing up any branches.

One of the Joint Organiser, Sally Green has given her husband a list and so he is very busy with a paint brush. We are missing one of our usual ground team, Vic, who is the gent that welcomes you on site with the biggest of grins, as he is not well at the moment and we wish him a speedy recovery.

Clem, landowner and former organiser of Isleham Horse Trials who passed aware a year ago, installed determination in his daughters, the Organisers, so we want to commence the season with competitors going away with a smile, which is what Father always achieved.

Yes, we really do require more entries especially on the Sunday. Please support us, especially as we run for charity.

We’d also like to thank our wonderful sponsors of all sections and higher-level prize money of BE90 and BE100 on the Saturday, Rossdales LLP.
