End of season fundraiser at Aston le Walls shaping up to be a real treat for all!
A number of star names in the eventing world have pledged their support to the additional fixture at Aston le Walls in week 35 of the calendar (28 and 29 October), where all proceeds will go to benefit youth eventing.
The aim of the event is to raise funds for the BE Youth programme, helping to reduce the deficit of cuts brought about by the impact of the pandemic. The team at Aston le Walls came up with idea of holding a one-off, additional fixture at the end of the season to support our young riders, where everyone behind the event (including organisers, contractors, professional staff and BE) will be giving their services at a reduced rate, at cost or for free.
There will be classes for riders competing from BE80 up to Novice and – as if such a worthwhile bonus fixture wasn’t exciting enough – the team at Aston le Walls have just announced the news that some of the sports top names will be donating their time to offer an incredibly special prize to the winners of every section.
Each class section will be adopted by a ‘celebrity coach’, who will provide a fantastic one-to-one lesson for the section winner. They will also be showing their support for all the competitors in their section, by sharing top tips and a message of good luck. This a unique opportunity to get access to some of eventing’s greatest talents, including Olympic medallists, Team GB riders and performance managers.
The list of celebrity coaches so far:
- Laura Collett
- Tom McEwen
- Pippa Funnell
- Harry Meade
- Gemma Tatterstall
- Sarah Bullimore
- Kitty King
- Nicola Wilson
- Richard Waygood
- Chris Bartle
Don’t miss the opportunity to compete for one of these unforgettable prizes, whilst doing your bit to support the future stars of our sport. For more information click here (link to Aston le Walls listing).
