Double win for Nicola Wilson in the Spring Sunshine!


Nicola Wilson was in flying form taking the Rookery Park Stud and the Tile Choice Advanced Sections with Bulana and Yacobo Bk, both owned by James and Jo Lambert.  


Nicola said; "I had two fantastic rides around this fabulous galloping course, the ‘going’ is perfect, it is such a delight and a great privilege to ride in this beautiful park. Yacabo Bk is off to Ballindenisk and Yacobo Bk  is now bound for Badminton."

Izzy Taylor and Hartacker enjoyed a Novice outing to take the Moores Metals Section A and Martyn Johnson and Patrickswell Scorpion took the Landsbrook Stud Section B on a score of 27.6. Holly Bradshaw riding her own Sharaz won Section C. Holly said; "I am chuffed to bits! Sharaz is a new ride for me so we are still getting to know each other I had a fantastic ride around this big bold course."

The Open Novice Section D went to Hannah Bate riding Galvinised – his delighted owners, Alan and Michelle Harding said; "he was absolutely brilliant he loved this fantastic course." Lucinda Mesquita riding her own Jem Rose won Section E.  Lucinda said; "I am really pleased my horse is a neat careful jumper and I had a great ride – this course is fabulous!"

The Charles Owen Pony Trials were hotly contested - Section F went to Freya Partridge and Master Macky – Freya said; "this cross country course is awesome - my best ride ever!" Section G went to a delighted Daisy Bathe riding Georgina Herrling’s  SF Detroit on an impressive score of 22.1.

The Open Intermediate U21 and U18 Section H - 16 year old Milo Kennedy riding Sophie Douglas’s Moher Prince won the NAF U18 on a score of 36.2 with just 0.5 of a mark from Holly Needham riding Forever Noble (36.7) who won the Saracens Horse Feeds U21’s.

The Intermediate sections were taken by Daisy Berkeley and Cooley One To Many and Oliver Townend riding Newmarket Caro.

Jonelle Price was very impressive taking both of the Open Intermediate Sections riding Cooley Showtime and Cloud Dancer II.  Rookery Park Stud kindly sponsored Section M and the Event welcomed IEC Equine Solutions as a new sponsor to Section N, giving a tremendous boost to the event.

Joint Organiser, Janet Plant, said; "we have had a fabulous weekend in the brilliant spring sunshine – we now look forward to our Autumn fixture which takes place on 12th and 13th October."
