BOARD CHANGES AT BRITISH EVENTING
British Eventing is delighted to announce that Di Brunsden will join the board as a Non-Executive Director and will continue to chair the I.T. Steering Committee.
Di has been involved in the sport for several years and will be personally known to many organisers, riders and other stakeholders. Di evented as a one-horse amateur up to 3* level and now owns horses from BE90 to Championship level.
Di has more than 20 years’ experience managing teams to deliver large I.T. projects as a Managing Director, first at JP Morgan and then at Deutsche Bank. Di has recently been appointed as the Chair of the I.T. Steering Committee and is currently leading the I.T. Taskforce.
Di Brunsden commented, “I am delighted to be invited to join the BE Board in a Non-Executive Director capacity. I am a lifelong fan of eventing and hope that I can put my perspectives as a rider, owner and IT Director to good use when playing my part in the governance of our sport.”
Louise Jack, who has served on the I.T. Steering Committee and Finance Committee is stepping down due to family and work commitments which have become much greater during the pandemic. Fiona O’Hara Chair of the BE Board added, “on behalf of the board we wish to thank Louise for her time and advice to BE which has been invaluable. Di has already made a significant contribution to BE and we are looking forward to now working with her as a fellow NED.’
