BAILEYS HORSE FEEDS EXTENDS THEIR SUPPORT FOR THE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME FOR 2022
British Eventing is pleased to announce that Baileys Horse Feeds will continue as title sponsors of the Youth Regional Championships, to be held at Bishop Burton College once again in 2022, whilst also expanding their support to each region’s training programmes.
Bishop Burton College, East Yorkshire, hosted the Youth Regional Championships and CCIJ2* & CCI2 *L YR for the first time in 2021; a fixture that was agreed by all to be a huge success. Such was the achievement by the organisers that Baileys Horse Feeds, who initially committed to sponsor for one year, have decided to extend their support for another year. In addition to their title sponsorship, Baileys will also provide sponsorship funds to each of the eight regional teams to help support their training and assist with funding their team kit.
The Baileys Horse Feeds Youth Regional Championships sees the culmination of three Youth Regional Championships at BE90 Open, BE100 Open and CCIJ2*-L level. The Championships bring together talented young riders from across Great Britain competing as regional teams, each comprising ten members.
The BE Youth Programme consists of an extensive and well-established training programme specifically aimed towards young riders aged between 12 to 21. Opportunities to compete are provided in classes run for under 21’s & under 18s, where riders have the chance to compete against their peers in a supportive and educational environment. All on the Youth Programme have access to the best coaching support and mentoring, with course walks available at specific events throughout the season with support from regional officials for all.
Baileys Horse Feeds are passionate supporters of eventing, having sponsored BE’s Winter Series for 12 years, and working with riders at all levels of the sport. “It’s great to have the chance to continue our support for the Youth Regional Championships, after many happy years sponsoring the Winter Series,” says Baileys Marketing Manager, Jane Buchan. “We’re really looking forward to working with all the Regional Youth Teams, in preparation for next year’s Championships, at which we’ll also be planning to get more involved.”
“We are delighted that this exciting partnership will be extending for another year,” said Georgina Batting, BE Regional Youth Chairman. “A healthy horse is key to a rewarding competition experience, so it is great news that Baileys will be continuing to support our youth competitors. Providing these riders with the opportunity to work with Baileys’ expert nutritionists will undoubtedly help them to maximise competition performance.”
