Course description

Kirriemuir will provide a straighforward encouraging course  as we see the resumption of sport in Scotland, we will do everything we can to make this a  fun and enjoyable day for horse and rider- there will be a brand new course of 80 jumps which were built pre-lockdown.  The going will be excellent on ground which has been rested for 12 months!

THERE WILL BE NO REQUIREMENT TO PRINT YOUR COMPETITOR NUMBER -

 WE WILL PRE PRINT COMPETITOR NUMBERS  - PLEASE BRING £1.00 WITH YOU TO PAY FOR  YOUR NUMBERS - 

YOU WILL COLLECT IT FROM A SOCIALLY DISTANCED AREA AND PLACE THE £1.00 COIN IN THE PLASTIC SLEEVE YOUR COMPETITOR NUMBER IS IN


Refund Policy 
100% refund for withdrawals before ballot date. If replaced from a waitlist you will receive a refund  minus an admin fee of £12.00 as rule 4.11.

Entry Amendments
No later than Tuesday 28th July 2020, 11:00am by telephoning the Entries Secretary. A waitlist will be maintained.

Starting Times
Available between 6pm and 8pm on Thursday 30th July  online or by calling the Entries Secretary.

Stabling

Due to current government restrictions we regret there is no on site stabling available at Auchlishie for the early event on 1st August.
However should Scottish Government guidelines change please monitor newsflash for updates as you will be able to book stables on line to stay in our Cheval portable stables on site
Please do not  contact Auchlishie Eventing about stabling.

All terrain vehicles/motorcycles will not be permitted except those used by authorised officials.

Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.

Entrance Policy
Kirriemuir Horse Trials regrets we cannot admit spectators to this event - Owners will be admitted  but must be a member of BE and must provide proof of membership. Competitors who are single horse riders may have  a maximum of 2 people on site - which will include the owner
Riders with multiple horses ( 2 or more) may have a maximum of 3 people on site - which will include the owners.

DRESSAGE
Any  person accompanying a rider to the dressage arena must display the number of the horse they are accompanying -

Competitor bib numbers - in order to provide standardisation Kirriemuir Horse Trials will print competitor bib numbers and they will be on display for collection at a socially distanced area - you will be charged £1.00 for this which will ensure standardisation of numbers for fence judges

Accommodation and Catering

There will be open air mobile catering on site with social distancing  taken into account  for queues
We are now allowed to ahve tradestands on site but these must comply with government guidelines on social distancing
Action Replay Photography will be on location  for the event but  please note their pictures can only be viewed on line post event
Accommodation list is available from the Organiser - please send SAE or see website www.auchlishie.co.uk. but this will be only avalable if current Scottish guidelines permit.

Classes and fees

Due to  the current ongoing social distancing guidelines there will be no prizegiving at this event-  A decision on awarding prizemoney will be made nearer the event date  once an indication of the increased costs involved in running the event are clear

Please note under current government restrictions there will be no prizegiving at this event.
As entries will be limited and we  may have increased running costs for the event it is under discussion as to the awarding of prize money  and we  hope you will understand - however  please keep an eye on the newsflash for updates on prizemoney because if it is at all possible we will

Extra day of competition added to Solihull (2)

We are delighted to confirm that due to a fantastic number of entries, an extra day of competition has been added to Solihull (2) on Friday 21 August. BE90, BE90Open, BE100, BE100Open, Novice and Open Novice classes have been added to the extra day of competition, and the event will now run 21-23 August.
