Festival of British Eventing

The Magic Millions Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park, Gloucestershire, hosts four British Eventing Championships and is a key fixture on the BE calendar. From the Novice Restricted Championship for amateur riders all the way through to the British Open Championship at CCI4*-S level, The Festival of British Eventing is a true showcase of the sport.

The Championship cross country courses are famed for the topography of the land and Course Designer Captain Mark Phillips' use of it to test horse and rider in order to find the National Champion at each level.

BURGHAM TO HOLD BRITISH NATIONAL EVENTING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Burgham International Horse Trials (28 July-1 August) will host Britain’s national eventing championships for 2021.

Following a tender process, the Northumberland event has been awarded the British Open Championship, the Intermediate Championship, the Novice Championship and the Novice Restricted Championships following the cancellation of The Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park for 2021.

The championships will run alongside Burgham’s well-established CCI4*-S, CCI3*-S and CCI2*-S international classes and national classes.
