Event Information


Novice sections will run on Friday and Saturday, please state which day is preferential.


Entry fees include VAT. VAT Reg No 933440145. INTERNET entries will be accepted on {}. Internet Entries preferred.  Please make cheques payable to R.E.C..
WITHDRAWALS by 12 noon on 1 May by e-mail  REFUND POLICY - As per Rule 4.11. 100% refund for entries withdrawn before Ballot Date. Thereafter, entries that are replaced in the same class & same day will receive a full refund (plus VAT if applicable) subject to a £12 administration charge (plus VAT if applicable). Entries made after Ballot date are not eligible for a refund. If full, a wait list will be held.Withdrawals after the ballot date will only be refunded if replaced.

Starting fees include a programme on collection of numbers. Please note Starting Fee prices; correct change in CASH preferred please.


Limited on site stabling as well as off-site stabling available at £30.00 per night. Stabling includes straw. Anyone requiring alternative bedding to bring their own. No refund of stabling fees.


BE90 and BE100 classes Prizes in Kind. All other classes, lower limit prize money, plus additional prizes in kind if sponsorship allows. As a courtesy to our sponsors, riders or their representatives must attend prize giving or forfeit their prizes. Prize money will be paid by BACS providing the form given at the Prize Giving is returned to Richmond Equestrian Centre no later than 6th June 2018.
Brymor Real Dairy Ice Cream will give a voucher for 2 ice creams from the Brymor Ice Cream van on the field to all 1st - 3rd prize winners in each section. Rosettes to 10th Place.


The water complex built in 2016 and the additional bank complex added in 2017 have both proved successful and continue to add variety to the courses. Both Novice and Intermediate courses are bold and challenging and with alternatives where required they are inviting and suitable for first timers. All the courses are progressive, designed to educate and encourage both horse and rider.The show Jumping is fully up to height and runs on an all weather surface. The warm-up facilities are very good, with both indoor and outdoor warm up arenas. Studs must be removed for the showjumping phase.

XC SCHOOLING - on Tuesday 8, Saturday 12 and Sunday 13, weather permitting, over BE90, BE100 and Novice Courses.  In case of inclement weather, please call 01748 811629 before leaving home.
PARKING: Cars will be directed to park separately from the horseboxes.  
GUARANTEED ENTRY/VOLUNTEERS - Any competitors agreeing to jump judge will be guaranteed entry, providing their entry is received BEFORE the ballot date. Telephone Donna Wood 07769 216595 to volunteer. 
Skipping out Trailers/horseboxes on site is not permitted. 
ENTRANCE POLICY - Each car displaying a current BE membership card will be admitted including all occupants. Organisers and Officials Car Passes will admit the car and all occupants
For reasons of health and safety Disabled Visitors must book in with the Event Secretary upon arrival. A pass will be issued and directions given as to where it is safe to watch competition.  Non-official cars MUST NOT drive around site as a health and safety precaution.   



Grid reference SE208969. Richmond Equestrian Centre is situated only 5 miles from the A1 North and South. Take the slip road turning for Catterick, Richmond and Tunstall (A6136) then Follow signs for Richmond Equestrian Centre. Before you enter Tunstall village take the first right turn after the 30mph sign. Richmond Equestrian Centre is 1 mile up this road on the left. Do NOT enter via Catterick Garrison there is a small very weak bridge weight limit 7.5T with a nasty bend. NO LORRIES OR TRAILERS. The final approach road is narrow. Please allocate extra time due to possible congestion.
