INTERNET entries will be accepted on www.bdwp.co.uk.  If entries are oversubscribed a wait list will be held.  Please state on entry form if you do not wish to be waitlisted.  Postal entries to the Entries Secretary.  Please make cheques payable to D Weymouth and enclose a separate 22x11cm (DL size) envelope per horse.

ENTRY AMENDMENTS by 12:00 24 April by phoning the Entries Secretary.

REFUND POLICY - 100% refund will be given for withdrawals before Ballot Date.  Thereafter entries replaced will receive a full refund subject to a £12 admin charge +VAT (Rule 4.11.2).

STABLING

Stabling is available locally. A list of providers is found on the Competitors' information pate at www.cumbriahorsetrials.com.

QUALIFIERS/SPECIAL CLASSES

There will be a Newcomers BE90 Section for any horse or rider who have competed in no more than 4 BE events.  Please state eligibility on entry form. A BE100 Newcomers Section will be available for any horse and rider who have never competed at BE100.  Please state eligibility on entry form. A prize will be awarded in each Novice Section to the highest place amateur rider who is competing a maximum of 2 horses in this BE season.  The rider is not to earn a living competing/producing horses.  Please state eligibility on entry form.

PRIZES

BE80, BE90, BE100 prizes in kind,  Novice & BE105 prize money. Cumbria Challenge Trophy 2019 for the highest placed Cumbrian horse/rider combination competing in all classes.  Points are accumulated at all the Cumbrian BE affiliated events, of which the best 4 scores will count.  The 2019 trophy will be presented at the end of the season.

As a courtesy to our sponsors and officials, please will competitors or their representatives attend prize giving and smartly dressed.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

New Novice class has been introduced for 2019. Frenchfield has sandy going on permanent pasture across undulating farmland on the edge of Penrith.  Excellent spectator viewing with wonderful views across to the Lake District.

ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING

Hot and Cold refreshments are available throughout out the event.  Accommodation information can be obtained via Penrith Tourist Office on 01768 867466 or www.visiteden.co.uk/where-to-stay

SPECIAL NOTICES

In case of ABANDONMENT please phone 07836 238808 or 077536 56440. ALL TERRAIN VEHICLES/MOTORCYCLES will not be permitted, except for disabled access. Provision wil be made for disabled persons to have suitable access to the administration area, dressage, show jumping and a designated area on the cross country.  DOGS must be kept on leads at all times.  Tradestand enquiries to Lucinda Weymouth.  Entrance Policy: No Charge for BE and Cumbria Horse Trials members, displaying valid passes.  £10 per car on event days.

Grid Reference: NY538301.  The event is located off the A686 (Penrith to Alston Road), about 1.30 miles from the Penrith Kemplay roundabout.  It will be signposted from the roundabout.
