We are making big changes to the Cross Country course in response to last year's flood and the arenas will be on slightly flatter ground.  The Cross Country course will be in the main field and will be quicker and easier to find than previously, with access just past the Show Jumping.  Andrew Hunter's courses are bold and up to height - they should ride well and the start/finish area will not be as enclosed as before.  We have also done a lot of drainage work over the autumn.  In firm conditions, our land agrivates beautifully, giving a lovely sandy soil.  We will agrivate all phased and warm-ups if need be.  The course will meander about the parkfield, making use of copses and rills where possible.  The Novice and BE100 will be entirely in this field, making excellent viewing.  Both will use the new water, which is much more inviting than the old water.  Both will have a coffin and the Novice will also include either a trakener or open ditch.  The intermediate course will follow roughly the same route with the addition of a loop into the 'doggy graves' field making use of our eight permanent fences built last year.  The intermediate is designed to be a good first run after an International, to be bold and confidence giving, with the technical questions coming later in the course.  The Dressage arenas include a slight incline and are better draining than the flatter areas.  The Show Jumping warm up will be expended to include less trees.

Hot and cold food on site. Accommodation list is available from pa@farleyfarms.co.uk.

In case of Abandonment, please check Facebook and www.bdwp.co.uk/jbrettell. If you must phone, please phone 07711 656480 or  07812 586988 between 7am-9pm only on the event weekend.
