The site at Hambleden is extremely compact and has well-draining ground that copes well with a lot of rain. Improvements have been made to access arrangements and we can always find fresh ground to move dressage arenas, and the show jumps within our huge, permanently fenced show-jumping arena. In the event of a very dry spring we have an irrigation system and a team on standby to water the cross country courses.
We have always considered our courses to be challenging and to reward bold riding, and the Novice and Intermediate courses are most suitable for horses that are established at those levels. We are renowned for the high standard of presentation of our courses and our unique feature fences and we work hard to ensure that the going is the best possible.
