BE Coach Development

BE recognises the importance of maintaining high quality training in order to continue to improve the sport, and offers numerous opportunities for CPD to BE Coaches and coaches wishing to become BE coaches.

These opportunities include Regional Coaching Development Days aiming to assist individual coaches to achieve qualifications to develop their careers, opportunities to be involved with rider training on behalf of BE, and external opportunities allowing BE coaches to benefit from knowledge from other sports and injuries.

From January 2013, British Eventing will implement a new 'tiered' categorisation for BE accredited coaches, with new criteria for each level of BE accredited coach. BE are offering as much opportunity as possible for coaches to 'upskill' to fit into one of these new categories, and acheive the qualifications required for this. What Kind of Training?

For riders, courses are available for all ages over 12 and will include cross discipline training from grassroots level upwards. Coaches are encouraged to discuss any ideas they have for rider training with their Regional Training Organiser, who will work closely with the coach to make ideas happen.
