Applications for the 2017 Scholarship are now open - APPLY NOW

Applications will close on the 3rd September and the final selection day will take place on the ***NEW DATE*** 2nd October at a venue to be confirmed.

All Riders that take part in one or more of the ridden MTBTG training sessions are eligible to apply for the MTBTG Scholarship. Although the closing date of 3rd September 2017 comes before the final training day on the 20th September, riders planning to attend this training course may still apply pending attendance at the training.

In this exciting initiative the winning applicant will receive the following sponsorship and support package for the subsequent eventing season:

  • Three individual training sessions plus mentoring from the legendary Sir Mark Todd
  • A year’s worth of Mark Todd Keyflow feed for one horse to the value of £1500 plus nutritional advice
  • Clothing, tack and horse-wear from the Mark Todd Collection to the value of £1500

We are looking for someone that is working hard to fulfil their competitive ambitions but who perhaps lacks the resources to access world-class training and support. Sir Mark Todd will work with MTBTG coaches Gill Watson and Lizzel Winter to select the winner, along with representatives from Keyflow Feeds and the Mark Todd Collection.

Alexander Whewall claimed the 2016 scholarship with Alicia Hawker and Rose Carnegie taking the runner up spots. Read more about the 2016 final
