Course Design Scholarship

British Eventing (BE)'s Course Design Scholarship is open to all levels of Course Designer including those just starting out in the industry and experienced BE Accredited Designers who are showing great potential to reach a high level of course designing.

The main aim of this two year Scholarship is to guide and support talented course designers, whatever level they are in course design, in order to give them the best possible chance to reach the top level of course design in the sport.

  • Exclusive access to Scholarship training sessions / course walks with a dedicated Mentor.
  • Potential opportunities to assist with the design of British Eventing Courses at an appropriate level under the support of a dedicated Mentor.

Is it Suitable for Me?

If you have a keen interest in cross country course designing, have had previous involvement with Events, either BE or unaffiliated, in any capacity, and would like to progress within the role of course designing, this Scholarship is for you. The Scholarship will be awarded to Candidates that the selection panel feel have great potential to grow into experienced Course Designers who will be able to bring fresh thinking to the cross country courses of the future. 

How do I Apply?

Applications for the 2017-2019 Course Design Scholarship are open now and will close on 31st August 2017. Following close of applications a shortlist will be drawn up who will be required to attend a final selection day on 18 October, where the two winners will be chosen.
