How to use this site

British Eventing's Training and Education Portal is designed to make it quicker and easier to find courses and book online. The site aims to create access to high quality, BE provided training for everyone involved in the sport of Eventing, encompassing Riders, Officials, Volunteers, Coaches, Organisers and Course Designers and Builders.

All the courses are incorporated into a comprehensive search facility, for example, there are not separate pages for rider courses and officials courses. The search facility is easy to use and can be found here.

Using the Search Facility to find a course suited to your needs:

Step 1: Click on 'Courses' at the top left of the page (next to 'My BE')

Step 2: Select a role. The options are Coach, Official, Rider, Volunteer, Under 18 Rider or All Roles.

Step 3: Depending on which role you selected in Step 2, a 'Course Level' box will appear to the right of the 'Role' box. Select which option is suitable for you. NB: If you have selected 'All Roles' previously, you will not be able to use the 'Course Level' selection. The search will then show all roles in the area you have specified (Step 6)

Step 4: If you have selected 'Rider' or 'Under 18 Rider' as your role, once you have selected a course level option the 'Type' box will appear to the right of the 'Course Level' box. Select the option that is the most suitable for you.

Step 5: Enter your postcode into the 'Postcode' box underneath the 'role' box.

Step 6: Choose a Postcode Radius by selecting an option from the drop down menu next to the 'postcode' box. The system will then only search for courses within this radius of your postcode.

Step 7: Choose your date range by clicking on the calendar symbols underneath 'View all courses between'. The box to the left is the 'from' date and the box to the right is the 'to' date. The system will then only search for courses within this date range.

Step 8: Click 'Search', the red button to the right of the option boxes. The system will then search using your options and display the courses which are relevent to you.

Step 8: If you wish to see the courses displayed on a map showing the postcode radius, please click on 'Map view' to the right of the option boxes.

Step 9: Click on any course to find out more!

To book a course, click 'Book Now' on the course page and follow the instructions. If you have any problems, please call 02476 698 906 for assistance.
