Mark Todd Bridging the Gap (MTBTG) training aims to provide top class training opportunities to riders who are aged over 21 and competing at 2* or 3* level, who do not get any other support from existing programmes. The training aims to 'Bridge the Gap' between the Young Rider and World Class programmes. Training days include two day camps, training in all three disciplines at high quality venues, video analysis, training/competition opportunities, talks from top riders and much more.

In 2015 a new inititive, Stepping Stones, was introduced under the MTBTG banner for 1* level riders.

What the participants say:

"I just wanted to pass on my thanks to [Gill] and Lizzel for another fantastic MTBTG training at Attington last weekend. The course provides such expertise that otherwise would be very hard to come by and is very enjoyable. It’s lovely to have the chance to meet and bond with other riders of a similar level. The heart rate monitor talk was fascinating - again proving information and knowledge that would be hard to receive elsewhere. I have lots to take away from the course and look forward to the training day at Parwood in March."
Melissa Joannides (March 2018)

"I had a really enjoyable days training and my horses showed good improvement in both phases. I gained plenty of valuable advice and Gill has given me lots of ideas to go away and work with."
Phil Brown (April 2018)
