This project has been made possible using funding from the Big Lottery Awards for All England and is delivered by the British Eventing Charitable Foundation.

If you are aged between 16 and 21 and interested in volunteering with horses, or even if you just love being outdoors, this is the course for you!

This free, course gives young people access to expert advice about how to get involved with volunteering at BE Horse Trials.

Attendees will also get the chance to meet and ask questions of some of the sports' most experienced volunteers, as well as getting 'hands-on' with an exclusive behind the scenes look at the organisation of a BE event.

All attendees will also be given free registration to the well renowned Young Equestrian Leaders Award (YELA) Bronze course, which is designed to recognise the time and effort young volunteers give to equestrianism and shape their experience, so they become equestrian leaders of the future. The three day FREE course includes:

Day 1 - Thursday 3 August - Volunteering: so many benefits! (indoor workshops)
Day 2 - Monday 21 August - Career choices: what are the options? (indoor workshops)
Day 3 - Saturday 26 August - Behind the Scenes - an exclusive look at the Organisation of Wellington BE Event (outdoors)

Sessions 1 & 2 take place at Wellington Riding School with session 3 taking place at Wellington Horse Trials . Lunch is provided free of charge every day for all attendees and all who complete the course will be rewarded at a special awards ceremony at the prestigious Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials in September!

If you wish to book for all three days click on the red 'book now' button to the right of this page. Please note you will be expected to attend all three days - but we understand that sometimes things change, so if you have booked but are unlikely to be able to attend one or two of the days please let us know by emailing
