Schools Pyramid Training - Prep for BE90 Schools at Calmsden - CANCELLED - Ampney Down Farm, Gloucestershire

Recommended for those who have not competed at 90cm level or are new to British Eventing competitions. This series of training courses is designed for those working towards the Schools Section of the BE90 class at Calmsden Horse Trials in October. 

The summer Training Sessions will cover the following, over the course of the summer:

1) Improving dressage skills and marks per movement

2) Essential Show Jumping basics and course walking

3) Cross Country riding, course walking and technical information

Each day will include a flatwork session and a jumping session – which will be in the outdoor arena for July sessions, the XC course in August (weather dependent) 

Carolyn Rowe, BE accredited coach, has taught schools teams since 2008 and is familiar with the necessary learning required to build on good basic skills/ training methods. She has represented GB at 3* level,  has been a regular competitor in the past winning the coveted Pony Club Horsemastership award for Show Jumping and winning a 2* Three Day Event amongst various other successes

Outdoor Arena

45 minutes dressage, followed (after short break) by approx. 1 hour jumping training in groups of 3 or 4, throughout the day, starting at approx. 9.00 am. Times to be notified nearer the date

Ample parking for lorries & car/trailer

Located 3 miles NE of Cirencester on the A429 – access off this road only
