Baileys Winter Jump Training Series

Jump TrainingPrepare for the 2013 Season with BE and Baileys

British Eventing are pleased to announce the return of Jump Training sponsored by Baileys Horse Feeds.

The competitions are open to both Members and non-members and are a great opportunity to compete and train before the season gets into full swing.

The JT series which runs from January through to the Championship at the end of March.

Riders gain invaluable feedback from BE Accredited Coaches on their showjumping skills in a three phase training competition:

- Phase 1 involves a course walk in small groups;

- Phase 2 –riders receive a guided warming up session prior to..

- Phase 3; the competition whereby riders jump one round, get feedback from the coach and jump again.

NEW Team Element

This year sees the introduction of Teams for Jump Training. This involves 3 combinations, who are entering the competition as normal, nominating themselves as a team. Each team must comprise an entrant in each of the 3 classes (at BE80, BE90 and BE100 level) and must be declared on collection of the number of the BE80 competitor on the day of competition.

The team with the best overall score will qualify for a team place at the Championship Final to be held at Solihull Riding Club on 23rd March 2013. You may replace one member of your team only for the Championships and this replacement must ride in the appropriate level. (ie if a BE100 competitor is replaced then they must be replaced with someone competing at that level). If a combination qualifies as part of a team only they will compete at the Championships but only be eligible for the team prizes.
