Guidelines for BE80(T)

   

Entry to BE80(T) in 2010 will as per the BE 2010 rulebook. Training tickets will still apply for the 2010 season and remain priced at £10 each (for a combination ticket for both horse and rider).

Dressage 
The test will be the BE90 Dressage Test 91 (2009) for March - June fixtures, then the BE90 Dressage Test 92 (2009) from July to August. These are straightforward tests of approx 4 and a half minutes in a 20m x 40m arena to show the three paces on both reins including 20m circles. Show Jumping
The show jumping course will be encouraging and flowing with between 7 and 10 numbered obstacles including one double combination and at least three spreads.

Only two fences will be at maximum height, all measurements are as given below:
Max Height - 0.85m
Max Top Spread - 0.80m
Max Base Spread - 1.05m
Max Length - 400m
Speed - 325mpm

Cross Country
The course will again be designed to be encouraging and will include water (run in and out) and straightforward combinations. All fences will be to BE specifications and are measured as follows;
Course Length - 1600 – 2800m
Speed - 435mpm
Jumping Efforts - 18 – 25
Max Height - 0.80m
Max Top Spread - 0.90m
Max Base Spread - 1.25m
Max Spread (no height i.e. ditch) - 1.00m
Max Height Fence with Drop - 1.20m
Max Depth of water - 0.20m
