Something Special!

Seriously Smart!

This horse has it all! The looks, the talent and most importantly the most superb temperament-there is nothing not to like! His temperament is to die for, so straightforward, genuine and willing with a super attitude to everything asked of him, such a lovely and sweet horse both on the floor in and the saddle.

Oreo is a 16hh 6yr old coloured ISH gelding, he is beautifully marked with great conformation and great feet, rides with a leg in each corner which as a rider always makes you feel safe and secure. He has the ‘WOW’ factor and his quality really shines through, these types of horses with his ability and his temperament are very hard to find. Oreo has the ability of a competition horse without the sharpness or the quirks which are usually associated with a talented competition horse, totally quirk free and is always looking to please.

This lovely horse has been produced correctly and sympathetically leaving him with the super attitude he has today, produced with his longevity in mind he has never been over used. Predominatly produced to event he has been given a varied education across all disciplines where he has proved to be extremely successful and remained sane, sensible and willing in all ways. This super chap has taken part in all riding club activities, showjumping upto 1m, hunter trails, unaffiliated ODE’s and lightly hunted he is now more than ready to affiliate any discipline and would excel either BE/BS/BD.

He is seriously something special, as you can see from his video he absolutely adores his jumping being honest, genuine and a straightforward ride both showjumping and xc, he is brave, bold and throws a superb shape yet always rides in a lovely rhythm without rushing or getting whizzy, has seen the brightest of fillers which he is totally unphased by and proved honest and willing at ditches, water, skinnies, drops, coffins and also rides extremely well down to bigger bolder fences. Very happily showjumping and xc schooling at BE100/Novice level making it all feel very easy proving he has all the ability to progress through the levels yet could be huge grassroots potential with his super sj and xc and beautiful flatwork, he is sure to be very competitive.

The judges absolutely adore this horse and he is seriously smart on the flat, naturally works in a correct consitent uphill outline with three superb paces there is nothing not to like, can do a really accurate test as he is so rideable and really listens to his riders aids. Works well from the aids without being sharp and will happily across all disciplines be ridden by an amateur he doesn’t need a professional rider or someone who gets a perfect stride, he doesn’t take offence at rider errors and doesn’t need daily riding to keep him sane, he is truly an easy horse!

A gentleman to have both at home and at shows, extremely easy to handle, not a stressy type could careless if his routine changes from time to time, will live in or out, doesn’t hot up if his turnout is limited, great to box(trailer/lorry),shoe,clip,catch,wash(even lets you use the power wash!). Great to mount, ride in open spaces,no vices, very friendly yet always has manners, always has his ears forward and is stabled and has field turnout next to both mares and geldings. Super to hack both alone and in company and is great in traffic.

This lovely horse deserves the very best of homes, he is an absolute delight and will do any job his new owner wishes, would easily move through the grades eventing or be a rosette winner at grassroots level yet would also BS/BD a be a top quality allrounder. Please see video
