Become an Event Horse Owner

Event Horse Owners celebrating with their horse and rider

New Event Horse Owners

The great thing is you can start at any level. Owners can get as much of a buzz watching a young horse starting out in its career at BE80 level, as they do watching an older more experienced horse making its way around an International CCI 4* course such as Burghley.

Levels of competition

Level Grade Points
BE80, BE90, BE100 IV 0
Novice III 1 - 20
Intermediate II 21 - 60
Advanced I 61 +

Event Horses owned by Syndicates

What are the benefits of being in a Syndicate?

Being part of an Event horse syndicate can be as rewarding and exciting as buying one outright, but without the risk, responsibility and the financial outlay involved. Ownership is available to anyone with enthusiasm and a moderate amount of capital to invest.

Joining a syndicate is a fantastic way to become part of a group of like-minded people and gives you a chance to attend some of the most beautiful and prestigious events in the UK including Badminton, Burghley, Blenheim and Gatcombe to name a few. Uniquely Event horse syndicates could offer you the opportunity to own a potential Olympian athlete.

How it Works

Event horse syndicates are a form of ownership without having to own a horse outright. Essentially you can own a share in a horse at the level of horse and level of involvement that you wish to have. Syndicates are available for up and coming young horses to established horses competing at the higher levels.

Equine Pathway

In 2006, the Equine Pathway was created across all Olympic disciplines to establish a database of young and established horses with Olympic potential.

Being part of the Equine Pathway mean that we will keep a record of your horse on file, and he will be invited with your rider to various training days during the season where the team trainers and vets will assess the progress of your horse and help, where necessary, with advice to utilise his potential.
