Novice under 18 Programme

U18 championship venue frickleyWhat is the ONu18 Programme?

The Open Novice Under 18 Programme is a training and competition schedule designed to provide riders with competitive experience alongside riders within their age group. They will also develop a greater knowledge of the sport with an aim to furthering their riding careers. It also provides a stepping stone between the Pony Club, Pony Programme, BE100Ou18 Programme and those ready to take part in the Junior Programme.

The country is divided into eight regions, each with its own Under 18 Regional Coordinator, and riders are required to register for their region to compete in Open Novice under 18 (ONu18) classes. Each region will hold a minimum of four ONu18 qualifying competitions giving riders the opportunity to be selected for their regional team and compete in the ONu18 Regional Team Championships, held at CCI1* level and hosted at Frickley Park in July. Riders competing in under 18 regional classes will benefit from free coaching support and course walks from our experienced BE Accredited Coaches.

Qualifying competitions can be found HERE
