Jump Training 2017 15 Oct 18

Entries open for BE winter series

Entries are now open for the first competitions in the Baileys sponsored winter series; Arena Eventing and Jump Training.

For the 2018/19 winter series BE will be running Arena Eventing and Jump Training; with the Jumping & Style organising team stepping down we thank Andrew Hunter, Paul Davies and Holly Farr, along with all the many volunteers, for their dedication to the JAS series over the past 17 years.

For this coming season Arena Eventing will follow the same format as the 2017/2018 competition as riders take on a course of show jumps followed by round of arena cross country fences with a final Joker fence set 10cm higher than the rest of the course all against an optimum time. Jump Training is the perfect series for improving in the show jumping phase with competitors receiving a course walk with a BE Accredited Coach, assisted warm up, one round of show jumping with feedback from a second coach, followed by a second round of show jumping and further feedback.

Both series are the ideal preparation for eventing and are open to both members and non-members of BE with classes at 80cm, 90cm and 100cm. The 11 Arena Eventing and nine Jump Training competitions taking place throughout November, December, January and February each culminate with their own Championships at the end of February. For 2019 the Arena Eventing Championships is hosted at Dallas Burston in Warwickshire on 24th February 2019 with Jump Training heading back to Hartpury College, Gloucestershire, on 17th February.
