New sponsor for South East Eventers League

South East Eventer League Press Release.

As the 2018 Eventing season draws ever closer South East Eventers League would like to welcome on board a new title sponsor, Vardags.

Vardags is a leading law-making Magic Circle firm, specialising in high net worth, complex and international cases. Having expanded from a family and private client core to offer criminal defence, civil and commercial litigation services, Vardags now provides for the full spectrum of high networth client needs. Led by Founder and President Ayesha Vardag, dubbed in the media as “Britain’s top divorce lawyer”, Vardags works on some of the most high-profile cases heard in the English courts. Vardags also take on the Leading Horse and Rider Ranking and the SEEL Arena Eventing finals for 2019 within their package.

We also welcome on board Compurst Farm Cross Country who have kindly stepped forward to sponsor the Under 21 Ranking for 2018. Comphurst Cross Country is a professionally built cross-country training facility set on their 300 acre farm, with easy access straight off the A271 near Hailsham in East Sussex. The farm benefits from being on Tunbridge Wells sand, with excellent grass cover so the going on the cross country course is superb. Initially designed by London Olympic coursebuilder Scott Brickell, with a Novice course and other additions designed by Graham Payne and Louis Saunders of Sussex Courses, they offer around 200 jumps ranging from 30cm to 1.20+m. They have tracks at all the British Eventing official specifications at 80, 90, 100 and Novice, with some fences at Intermediate complexity, and including a wide range of skinnies, corners, ditches, banks, combinations, drop fences, etc, with a large number of the Mitsubishi Motors Cup fences, and an outstanding water complex.

New for 2018; they will also be offering a show-jumping course on grass, a grass dressage arena and more cross country jumps in a new field. Trainers/Riding Clubs/Pony Clubs are welcome to run clinics at their special rates, and they have a membership scheme that gives discounts to members. Many top and International trainers are booked; for details and bookings see their website or ring Tanya Reid on 07541032398

We also have on board ‘Coast Insurance’ who take on the Veteran Rider ranking this year. Coast Insurance is a family-run insurance broker, and has extensive knowledge and experience in insuring static and touring caravans, motorhomes, park homes and holiday lodges.

This year sees the launch of their new horsebox insurance and breakdown cover scheme. Coast has a strong partnership with leading underwriters which puts them in an ideal position to offer insurance cover which is comprehensive, relevant and excellent value for money. With over 20 year’s experience in niche insurance products they are recognised as experts in their field, so their customers can have every confidence in their stability and competence. Visit their website to find out more or call them on Freephone 0800 023 4485 to get a quote for your horsebox insurance and breakdown cover before the season gets underway.

We are forever grateful for our other long term sponsors, many who have been part of the SEEL set up for many years. Since its concept 23 years ago the League has grown from strength to strength and has been a major player in promoting the sport of Horse Trials in the South East. This year awards will be made for 12 different rankings, which cover all levels with the ‘Vargags’ Leading Horse and Rider winner picking up a cheque for £500 and the Leading Grassroots winner picking up a Voltaire saddle.
