BE Top Sire Rankings 2017

The 19 year old Trakehner stallion, Grafenstolz, takes both the BE Top Sire and Top Young Horse Sire for 2017.

A former Young Horse World Championship himself under Michael Jung, Grafenstolz’s progeny have amassed a total of 1,300 BE and Foundation Points throughout the 2017 season to take the BE Top Sire title this year. For a second year in a row the German-bred sire also leads the Top Young Horse Sire table with his progeny aged between four and eight years old taking a total of 1,294 Points.

ARS Vivendi takes second place in both the Top Sire and Young Horse Sire rankings on 1,221 and 786 points respectively. The prolific sire and former Advanced event horse, Mill Law, sits in third place in the Top Sire rankings on a total of 1,077 points followed by the Irish Thoroughbred sire Master Imp on 1,077 points, with Ramiro B completing the top five on 981 points.

Belgium warmblood Shannondale Sarco St Ghyvan, Mill Law and the 2016 Top Sire Jumbo make up third, fourth and fifth place in the Top Young Horse Sire rankings for 2017 on 717, 596 and 447 points.
