Job Opportunity: British Eventing Fixtures and Risk Management Executive

As part of our ongoing development plans we seek a Fixtures and Risk Management Executive.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Management of the annual BE Fixtures calendar in conjunction with the Regional Coordinators.
  • Management and assisting with the resolution of any fixtures related issues.
  • Managing the strategy for the development of the sport on a regional and national basis in conjunction with the Regional Coordinators.
  • Management, development and implementation of the BE Risk Management Strategy in conjunction with the National Safety Officer.
  • Responsibility for event related Health and Safety and development of event related policies and procedures for Organisers.
  • In conjunction with other BE personnel and external experts assist with planning and presenting any training days and meetings for Organisers and Officials.
  • Coordination of BE support to sport related research projects.


This is a busy and varied role and therefore the successful candidate must have excellent management, communication and interpersonal skills. A key part of the role will include being able to develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Previous experience in the eventing or equestrian environment will be beneficial.

This will be a full time role based at our offices at Abbey Park, Kenilworth and will form a key role within the Sport Department. Due to the nature of our sport a flexible approach to working is required, including some attendance at events during weekends.
